In exterior painting the quality of the paints and primers along with the quality of the prep work have to be taken seriously. Top quality paints and primers, while more expensive, will help prevent or stop more serious problems in the future.

 Paints with a higher part per million of binders ( resins or synthetic resins) to solvents help create a harder shell and allow for a richer pigment giving you a longer life on your investment.  

Preparation                                                                                     

Ø Power wash surface. Siding, soffits, ect...

Ø  Scrape  any chipping paint to tight egdes, and/or sand if contracted for restoration

Ø Repair or replace any rotting wood, missing trim, holes ect…

Ø  Check and replace caulking as needed

Ø  Mask or shield brick or anything that is not to be painted, also shield shingles from over spray

Ø  Using drop cloths; cover drives, porches, decks, shrubs est., from over spray
